Astana, Kazakhstan, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with more than 100 events planned throughout the city. The festivities will kick off on July 1 with a gala concert of the contest “Ayalagan Astana” (Beloved Astana). Other events planned for the anniversary include:

On the actual City Day, July 6, Astana will host the eco-festival “Gul Astana” (Flower Astana), the Republican plein air of artists, and the festive open-air concert “OPEN AIR”.
