Astana-Batumi Flights Resume, Boosting Tourism Between Kazakhstan and Georgia

Operating twice a week initially, on Tuesdays and Thursdays using Boeing 737 aircraft, the service aims to cater to the growing demand for travel between the two cities.

Effective June 8th, SCAT Airlines has announced the resumption of flights on the Astana-Batumi route, marking a significant milestone in bolstering air connectivity between Kazakhstan and Georgia.

Operating twice a week initially, on Tuesdays and Thursdays using Boeing 737 aircraft, the service aims to cater to the growing demand for travel between the two cities. Plans are underway to increase the frequency to three flights per week starting July, enhancing accessibility and facilitating tourism, cultural exchanges, and business collaborations between the two nations.

The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with Kazakh and foreign airlines, remains committed to expanding international flight options, further promoting bilateral ties and fostering mutual growth and development.
