On March 1, in the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent, the 42nd final stage of the Asian Youth Football Cup among players under 20 years old has started, Turanews.kz reports.
In the tournament, which will last until March 18, 16 teams will compete for prizes and four tickets to the 2023 World Championship, which is to be held in Indonesia from May 20 to June 11 this year.
Representatives from CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA qualified for the tournament, leaving AFC and CAF.
The Asian Cup U20 is a continental tournament for players under the age of 20, which is held every two years under the auspices of the AFC.
