Ashgabat Hosts Meeting of OSJD Railway Administrations
From April 15th to 19th, Turkmenistan is hosting the 38th meeting of the Conference of heads and responsible representatives of railway transport organizations from member countries of the Organization for Cooperation between Railways (OSJD).
The General Director of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, M. Chakiev, highlighted the agenda of the upcoming meeting during a government session.
The meeting will encompass an evaluation of the activities of specialized commissions and permanent working groups within the OSJD for the year 2023. Discussions will also center on the Work Program for the ensuing years, along with deliberations on the potential formulation of a draft OSJD Development Strategy.
Furthermore, the gathering will address pertinent issues related to professional training and education for railway system employees, reflecting the commitment of OSJD member countries to enhancing the expertise and capabilities of railway personnel.
