ASELSAN to Establish Joint Production with Azerbaijan
Ahmet Akyol, CEO of ASELSAN, announced plans for the Turkish defense company to expand its operations through joint production with local partners in Azerbaijan. "In the near future, you will see that part of ASELSAN's products will be manufactured in Baku and offered to the international market," he stated during a press briefing.
Akyol highlighted that an agreement had been signed at the ADEX-2024 exhibition, which includes provisions for exporting ASELSAN’s technologies to Azerbaijan. “We are currently implementing several significant joint projects with Azerbaijan, and efforts are underway to establish joint production,” he added.
ASELSAN, short for Askeri Elektronik Sanayi (Military Electronic Industries), is a prominent Turkish defense corporation based in Ankara, specializing in military electronics manufacturing.
