Turkish AnadoluJet company’s B-737 aircraft which is carrying 140 passengers on its first flight on the Ankara-Astana route, landed at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport at 07:15 local time.
The welcoming ceremony held at the airport for the first flight was attended by Turkey’s Ambassador to Astana Ufuk Ekici, AnadoluJet Marketing Sales Manager Ahmet Yildiz, Kazakhstan Civil Aviation Committee Chairman Talgat Lastayev, Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport Chairman Daulet Hamzin and other officials and members of the press.
After the opening speeches, Kazakh folk music was performed. In the ceremony where the Kazakh folk dance was performed, the ribbon and cake were cut for the first flight.
