This recognition was awarded by TURKSOY, the International Organization of Turkic Culture, due to the museums’ outstanding efforts in promoting national values and cultural heritage both within Kazakhstan and abroad. The award was presented by TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev.
“We have seen significant progress in Almaty’s museums over the past two years. Not only have people from Turkic countries, but also from Europe and Asia, had the opportunity to admire the unique exhibitions organized by Almaty. Exhibitions in cities like Istanbul, Seoul, Prague, Naples, and Vienna have left art and history enthusiasts in awe of the artifacts and cultural items you presented,” said Raev during the award ceremony.
