As Almaty celebrates its status as the “Youth Capital of the Turkic World 2025,” the city’s community centers have become vibrant hubs for international dialogue and cultural exchange.
Since the beginning of the year, over 50 events have been organized, reaching more than 3,000 young people. Supported by the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), these initiatives focus on fostering professional skills, digital literacy, and creative industries among the youth of member nations.
Major highlights already completed include the “Turki Fest Almaty-2025” and the international “TURKI CUP-2025” comedy festival. Looking ahead, the city prepares to host the Digital Turkic Youth Forum and the 5th International Youth Camp, alongside the establishment of a Student Ecological Hub for OTS countries. This designation has significantly strengthened volunteer movements and social projects, creating a sustainable platform for long-term cooperation across the Turkic geography.
