Albanian President to visit Kazakhstan for official talks

Albanian President Bajram Begaj will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan from September 6 to 8, 2023, at the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Turanews.kz reports citing the press service of Akorda.

The visit is expected to focus on strengthening trade-economic, transport-logistics, investment, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. The leaders of the two countries will also discuss the international and regional situation.

On September 7, Begaj and Tokayev will hold talks in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. They will be joined by their respective delegations, which will include government ministers, business leaders, and other high-level officials.

The talks are expected to cover a wide range of issues, including trade and investment, energy, agriculture, and tourism. The two countries are also expected to sign a number of agreements to boost cooperation in these areas.

The visit is a sign of the growing ties between Albania and Kazakhstan. The two countries have been cooperating closely in recent years, and the visit is expected to further strengthen these ties.
