The event is expected to welcome around 100 dignitaries from Turkic states and international organizations. A grand stage with LED screens has been set up along the Caspian Sea coast, accompanied by 30 traditional yurts. Over 1,500 people are involved in the preparations.
More than 1,000 performers from Kazakhstan and abroad will take the stage, with historical performances and a parade of TÜRKSOY member state delegates on the agenda. Before the official opening, guests will explore the “Darkhan Dala” ethno-village, where they can experience Kazakh traditions, crafts, and customs.
Six of the seven ethno-villages will feature exhibitions and fairs showcasing local artisans’ works, while the seventh will display traditional items from Turkic nations.
The event will gather ministers of culture from TÜRKSOY member states, leaders of international organizations, and public figures. To accommodate foreign guests, 150 volunteers and 30 interpreters have been assigned.
The official launch is set for April 5, with around 30 major international events scheduled throughout the year. Organizers believe the festival will provide a significant boost to the region’s cultural, economic, and tourism development.
