Tynybekova came away with her fifth career Asian gold and 10th medal overall with a gutsy 9-5 victory over former world champion Orkhon PUREVDORJ (MGL) in the final at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace.
Kyrgyzstani Aisuluu Tynybekova became the champion of Asia in wrestling. The athlete won a gold medal in Astana on Wednesday. Aisuluu Tynybekova (62 kg) confidently defeated Orkhon Purevdorzhd from Mongolia with a score 9-5 in the fight for the first place.
Earlier, at the same championship, the Greco-Roman wrestling team of Kyrgyzstan completed its performance, having won seven medals. Athletes took three gold medals, one silver and three bronze.
In the team event, the Kyrgyz team in Greco-Roman wrestling took second place, losing the championship in terms of the number of medals to the Iranian team.
