Kazakhstan is bracing for a bout of challenging weather on December 6, as a cyclone and associated atmospheric fronts are set to impact the majority of the republic. The precipitation, in the form of both rain and snow, is anticipated, TuraNews.kz reports.
The RGP “Kazgidromet” forecasts that the southern and southeastern parts of the country will remain unaffected by precipitation. However, other weather challenges, such as fog, ice, and strong winds, are expected to persist.
Notably, the North, East, and South of East Kazakhstan region are likely to experience very strong winds, reaching speeds of 30 m/s and above at times. In the Abay region, as well as in the northern, western, and central areas, similarly intense winds are expected periodically, creating potentially hazardous conditions.
