A monument and a park opens to honor the Kazakh Poet, Akhmet Baitursynov appeared in Ankara

In the capital of Republic of Türkiye, Ankara city there’s a park has opened and erected a monument in it to honor the Kazakh poet, and scholar Akhmet Baitursynov who is known as Teacher of the Nation) in Kazakhstan, Turanews.kz reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Science and High Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Erkebulan Sapiev, head of Etimesgut municipality of Ankara city Enver Demirel, representatives of diplomatic missions, international organizations, representatives from Kazakh Diaspora in Türkiye and students took part in the event dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Kazakh scholar Akhmet Baitursynov.

The bronze and granite monument which was built by well-known architects Aidos Burkitbaev and Timur Yermukhametov, the total height of it is 4 meters.

Also, dozens of trees have been planted on the territory of the park, and fountains and sports fields have been installed in the area.
