A fair was held in Turkmenistan before the independence day

Government officials, representatives of non-governmental organizations and many businesspeople attended the opening of the fair which one was held at the Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital city of Ashgabat.

Batir Atdayev, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers for Trade, Textile Industry and Entrepreneurship, who made the opening speech, read the message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants.

In his message, Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants on the opening of the fair, which showed the country’s achievements in the economy, and stated that the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan reached high levels during the years of independence and that it actively participates in regional and global economy. Noting that it is important to realize large projects for production, science and education, health, culture and life in the country, Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmen lands have become the venue of international organizations in this context.

The fashion show, consisting of different designs of Turkmen national clothes, attracted great attention of the participants.
