4.9 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Iran’s Khuzestan Province
An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran.
According to the Tehran University Seismology Center, the quake, with its epicenter in the city of Mushrage, Khuzestan province, occurred at 12:15 local time.
The earthquake, which hit at a depth of 16 kilometers underground, has not yet resulted in any reported casualties or damage.
