The accolade was presented during an online award ceremony, underscoring the significance of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge project on the global stage.
Participating in a competition that drew more than 100 engineering projects from 23 countries spanning every continent except Antarctica, the owners of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge project stood out. The judging panel meticulously evaluated 31 projects, considering factors such as teamwork, occupational safety, innovation, social contribution, construction quality, and aesthetic design.
Following a comprehensive assessment among the 31 winning projects in the second phase conducted this month, the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge project emerged as the well-deserved “Project of the Year.”
This recognition adds to the project’s already impressive list of achievements, boasting a total of 24 prestigious national and international awards to date.
