18-Year-Old Injures 5 People with Knife and Axe in Türkiye
An 18-year-old man in Eskişehir, Türkiye, was detained by police after injuring five people with a knife and an axe.
The incident reportedly occurred near the Uluönder tram stop in the Tepebaşı district, where the young man, identified as A.K., attacked people sitting in a tea garden. Authorities believe he may have been influenced by violent video games.
The suspect, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, helmet, and mask, injured five individuals before being apprehended by police after a brief chase. The injured were taken to local hospitals, with two of them reported to be in critical condition.
Additionally, the attacker, who was found with the Nazi “Black Sun” emblem on his chest, live-streamed the attack.
