15-Year-Old Hero Islam Saves Over 100 Lives During Crocus City Hall Attack
Islam, a courageous 15-year-old, emerged as a hero by saving the lives of more than a hundred people during the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. Despite his young age, Islam took charge of evacuating panicked concert-goers, demonstrating remarkable courage and presence of mind.
Employed part-time as a cloakroom attendant at the concert hall, Islam’s quick thinking and familiarity with safety protocols proved instrumental during the crisis. When the attack began, he swiftly assumed the role of a traffic controller, guiding fleeing individuals towards safety.
Reports from Russian media commend Islam’s heroic actions, detailing how he organized the evacuation of numerous guests, ensuring they exited the building through secure routes. At one critical moment, he intercepted a group heading towards a dead end and led them to safety through the exhibition area and service premises, ultimately guiding them to the street unharmed.
Islam’s family relocated from Kyrgyzstan to Moscow several years ago, and he was born and raised in Russia, according to Radio Azattyk.
