The initiative was introduced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and aims to ensure the fair distribution of national wealth. Providing equal starting opportunities for young people remains a key state priority, and savings from the National Fund are designed to serve as a solid financial foundation for their first independent steps into adulthood.
In 2026, a total of 6,918,656 children born between 2008 and 2025 are participating in the program. Each of them has received $130.71.
For 356,613 young people who will turn 18 in 2026, a total of $44.5 million has been allocated.
Including investment income accumulated over three years (2024–2026), total savings per participant have reached $370.56.
The funds are used to address important life needs. The largest share — $19.7 million — has been directed toward improving housing conditions under 127,446 approved applications. Another $11.9 million has been allocated for education expenses under 78,060 applications.
Parents can check the accrued amounts via the website kids.enpf.kz (using the child’s IIN), through the egov.kz portal, or in the Halyk, Kaspi.kz, and Bcc.kz mobile applications.
Upon reaching the age of 18, the savings are transferred to a special account at the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (ENPF), and only the beneficiary can access the information using a digital signature. Applications to use the funds for housing or education can be submitted through authorized banks: Otbasy Bank, Halyk Bank, or Bank CenterCredit.
