112 Russian teachers work in Kyrgyzstan Schools
112 Russian teachers are currently working in schools in Kyrgyzstan, according to Olga Bryzgalova, a representative of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education and Science, TuraNews.kz reports citing Sputnik.kg.
She spoke at the opening of the International Russian-Kyrgyz Teachers Forum “Looking into the Future,” which is organized by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education and Science and the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after Akmulla.
Bryzgalova recalled that the “Russian Teacher Abroad” project has been implemented in Kyrgyzstan since 2019.
“Last academic year and this year, 112 teachers from Russia are already working in our schools. If initially these were private and private-public schools, now the project is expanding to include teaching activities in municipal and state schools,” Bryzgalova said.
The “Russian Teacher Abroad” project is a joint initiative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and Rossotrudnichestvo, a Russian government agency responsible for promoting Russian culture and language abroad. The project aims to provide Russian-speaking students in other countries with access to high-quality Russian language instruction.
