Tajikistan to provide 6000 Tons of onions to Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan has agreed with Tajikistan on 6000 tons of onions supplement to meet up its domestic market inquiries.

According to the director general at QazTrade Nuraly Bukeikhanov, the representatives of both sides signed a document which guarantees the supplement early onions with the amounts of 6000 tons to Kazakhstan in the off-season period and the harvested onions in mid-April will be available for Kazakhstan by late April–early May.

Earlier, the Kazakh goverment banned the export of onions for three months in order to ensure the domestic demand in onions and stabilize prices.
