A road map has been signed between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which provides for an increase in mutual tourist flows.
In the statement made by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan, it was reported that the relevant document was agreed upon at an online meeting with the participation of representatives of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan.

The map provides for the development of tourism programs that increase the flow of tourists between the two countries, the exchange of information between travel companies of the two countries, the systematic placement of information showing the tourism potential of the countries on a special platform for pilgrimage tourism, the creation of amenities at border checkpoints for visiting tourists for the purpose of pilgrimage tourism .
