President of Republic Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Turanews.kz reports citing the press service of Akorda.
During the conversation, the heads of the two states exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
The Presidents noted that over the years, multifaceted and mutually beneficial interstate ties have been built between the countries, which are being strengthened in the spirit of strategic partnership.
The interlocutors emphasized the dynamic development of cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as close cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan through international organizations.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Emomali Rahmon noted they are ready for joint work to further strengthen Kazakh-Tajik relations.
