Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina has reached a monumental milestone in the 2026 season, securing more victories than any other professional tennis player on both tours.
With 27 match wins, Rybakina currently holds the top spot globally, edging out the ATP’s world number one, Jannik Sinner, who has recorded 26 wins this year.
Continuing her dominant run at the WTA 1000 Madrid Open, Rybakina advanced to the round of 16 after defeating Zheng Qinwen. Her next challenge is against world No. 56 Anastasia Potapova. The high-stakes match is scheduled for midnight on April 29 (Astana time). Tennis analysts highlight Rybakina’s exceptional form as she eyes another prestigious title on the clay surface.
