Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz held a comprehensive meeting with business representatives in Astana as part of his official visit to Kazakhstan. The event was organized within the framework of the 14th meeting of the Kazakhstan–Türkiye Intergovernmental Economic Commission and aimed at strengthening economic diplomacy between the two countries.
During the “Meeting with the Turkish Business Community,” initiated by Yilmaz, investment projects led by entrepreneurs operating in Kazakhstan were reviewed. In his remarks, the Vice President highlighted that the strategic partnership between the two brotherly nations has reached a new level.
He expressed confidence that the bilateral trade target of $15 billion, set by the presidents of both countries, will be achieved in the near future.
Yilmaz also noted that Kazakhstan remains one of the most attractive markets for Turkish capital, with major investment projects being implemented across key sectors.
The discussions also covered expanding cooperation in trade, investment, energy, logistics, healthcare, culture, agriculture, and education. Yilmaz praised the contribution of Turkish businesses to Kazakhstan’s economy and reaffirmed continued support for joint initiatives.
At the end of the meeting, the Vice President thanked the business councils for organizing the event and wished continued success to all entrepreneurs representing Türkiye abroad.
