On the first day of the New Year, 782 children were born in the maternity hospitals of the country , 398 boys and 384 girls, including three pairs of twins.

The largest number of newborns born on a holiday was again registered in the Turkestan region – 115 children, in second place – the southern of Almaty city, where the replenishment of 83 babies took place and the third largest city of Shymkent, where 69 Kazakhstanis were born at once.

January 1 will be a birthday for 60 kids in the capital of the Kazakhstan, Astana.
