What Apple Will Unveil On March 4

Apple has announced its first major product showcase of 2026. The Special Apple Experience event will take place on March 4 simultaneously in New York, Shanghai and London, and is expected to be one of the biggest tech premieres of the season.

The headline product is likely to be the iPhone 17e, positioned as the most affordable device in the new lineup. According to leaks, it may feature a 6.1-inch display, Dynamic Island, the A19 chip and MagSafe charging up to 15W. The device is expected to retain a 48MP main camera with 2x optical zoom, while the front camera could receive a new 18MP sensor with Center Stage support. The starting price is rumored to be $599.

Tablet updates are also anticipated, including refreshed versions of the iPad and iPad Air. The base iPad may switch to the A18 chip with Apple Intelligence features, while the iPad Air could move to the more powerful M4 processor.

In the laptop segment, updated MacBook Pro models powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips are expected. Apple may also introduce its first sub-$1000 MacBook, reportedly starting at around $700, potentially powered by the A18 chip while maintaining an aluminum body.

New external displays for Mac, an updated Apple TV and the HomePod mini are also expected to debut. Analysts describe the spring event as one of the most significant tech announcements in recent months.
