According to the 2025 results, Vietjet Qazaqstan (formerly Qazaq Air) corrected personal data in the tickets of 3,815 passengers. Most cases involved minor technical errors of up to two letters in passengers’ names.
The Aviation Transport Prosecutor’s Office of Astana held a meeting with the airline’s management to discuss passenger rights protection. Following the negotiations, a new policy officially came into force at the beginning of 2026, allowing passengers to correct name errors of up to two letters free of charge.
The initiative aims to strengthen passenger rights protection and align service standards with international practices.
