Kazakhstan’s Opponents Confirmed For FIFA Series 2026

FIFA has officially confirmed the group-stage opponents for Kazakhstan in the newly launched FIFA Series 2026 international tournament, BasSport.kz reports.

Kazakhstan will face Namibia, the Comoros Islands and Kuwait during the group stage. The matches are scheduled to take place in Astana from March 23 to 31, 2026.

The national team will play against the Comoros Islands on March 25. In the other fixture, Kuwait will take on Namibia. Following the opening matches, winners and losers will face each other in additional games.

Kazakhstan is among the first host nations selected for the FIFA Series 2026. Other host countries include Australia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Mauritius, Puerto Rico, Rwanda and Uzbekistan. Women’s matches will be held in Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire and Thailand.

Each group will consist of four teams representing different confederations. Every team will play two matches, a format designed to expand international competition opportunities without increasing the overall number of fixtures in the global calendar.
