Kyrgyzstan’s permanent population reached 7.395 million as of December 1, 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Between January and November 2025, the population grew by 112,800 people, marking a 1.5% increase. The rise was primarily driven by natural growth.
Data from the state agency “Kyzmat” show that 127,800 births were registered during the reporting period, equivalent to 19 births per 1,000 people (compared to 19.9 in the same period of 2024). Meanwhile, 29,300 deaths were recorded, or 4.4 per 1,000 people (4.5 in 2024).
As a result, natural population growth totaled 98,500 people. The highest growth rates were observed in Batken, Osh and Jalal-Abad regions, while the lowest figure was recorded in Bishkek.
