AI To Administer Driving Theory Exams In Kyrgyzstan From 2026

Kyrgyzstan plans to introduce an artificial intelligence–based system for administering driving theory exams starting in 2026, local outlet Kabar reports.

Kanibek Tumanbayev, Head of the Presidential Administration, stated that the new approach is designed to eliminate human intervention entirely, ensuring full transparency and accuracy.

Under the system, applicants will visit a testing center and answer five questions on a computer. If all answers are correct, the AI will automatically confirm the result and authorize the issuance of a driver’s license. “There will be no outside interference,” Tumanbayev noted.
