The fuel supply situation in Kyrgyzstan has returned to normal, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev, Kazinform reports.
Torobaev stated that all major fuel depots across the country currently have sufficient reserves of gasoline and diesel. He added that the Cabinet of Ministers, together with national fuel suppliers, has been coordinating with authorities and refineries in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Belarus to ensure uninterrupted deliveries of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan.
He emphasized that fuel supply is under daily supervision by relevant state agencies and that the market situation has stabilized.
Government bodies, local administrations, and responsible companies have been instructed to monitor fuel and coal reserves for the population and social facilities, track pricing and quality, and maintain uninterrupted heating and electricity supply during the winter season.
