Kazakhstan and Armenia Strengthen Strategic Partnership During High-Level Talks
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held official talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who arrived in Astana for his first official visit to Kazakhstan, the Akorda press service reported.

President Tokayev stated that Pashinyan’s visit gives fresh momentum to the development of strategic cooperation between the two countries. He highlighted the Kazakh people’s deep respect for the history, culture and traditions of Armenia, adding that several key bilateral agreements are expected to be signed during the visit.
Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked Tokayev for the invitation and warm hospitality, noting that a new phase in bilateral relations began after Tokayev’s official visit to Armenia last year. He said that many of the agreements reached previously have already been implemented, while work continues on the remaining commitments. Pashinyan added that visiting Kazakhstan on an official mission is a great honor for him.
