Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States Meets UN Resident Coordinator in Türkiye

During the meeting, the Secretary-General briefed the UN official on the organization’s activities, the progress of cooperation among member states, and engagement with various UN bodies.

The two sides exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in the field of sustainable development, with particular emphasis on joint efforts to promote the “Zero Waste” initiative across the Turkic world.

Both parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening institutional dialogue and coordination, as well as advancing sustainable development and regional prosperity in the face of current regional and global challenges.
