The decision will allow the railway operator to transport more than 400 passengers per day on a consistent basis. The route will be served by Talgo trains known for their enhanced comfort.
According to the company, the introduction of daily service will ensure a more stable timetable, make travel planning easier, and strengthen transport connectivity between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The measure is also expected to boost tourism flows and support growing cultural and business ties between the two countries.
Additional timetable adjustments are planned on several routes ahead of the winter season.
