Kyrgyzstan exports 206 tons of honey in 2022

Kyrgyzstan exported 206.8 tons of honey in 2022, the National Statistical Committee of Republic of Kyrgyzstan reports.

Committee stated that the average price of honey was USD 4.26 per kilogram. Its value has not changed much since last year. At the highest price, Kyrgyz honey was bought by Japan – USD 7.1 per kilogram, and at the lowest price – by Iraq – USD 1.5 per kilogram.

Saudi Arabia imported the largest volume of Kyrgyz honey – 37.7 tons at USD 3.7 per kilogram. Furthermore:

• Republic of Korea – 30.1 tons at a price of USD 4.2 per kilogram;

• USA with 20.2 tons (USD 4.9 per kilogram);

• China with 18.9 tons (USD 2.5 per kilogram);

• Japan with 16 tons (USD 7.1 per kilogram);

• Kuwait with 14 tons (USD 6.3 per kilogram);

• Iraq with 13 tons (USD 1.5 per kilogram);

• Russia from 10.2 (USD 4.8 per kilogram).

The rest of the production was bought by other countries near and far abroad in the amount of less than 4 tons at a price of USD 3.4 to 5 per kilogram.
