“II Turkic World Youth Forum” Held in Bishkek

The 2nd Turkic World Youth Forum was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, organized by TURKSOY.

As part of the event, TURKSOY hosted its first-ever Permanent Council Simulation, a new initiative designed to engage youth from across the Turkic world.

The simulation brought together representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Türkiye — member states of TURKSOY’s governing structure. Participants modeled the work of the TURKSOY Permanent Council, discussing topics related to culture, art, and youth policy.

Young delegates delivered speeches on behalf of their countries, exchanging views on strengthening cooperation, preserving cultural heritage, and shaping a shared vision for the future. They presented proposals and drafted resolutions reflecting the main items on the Council’s agenda, highlighting collective approaches to the future of the Turkic world.

The primary aim of the simulation was to enhance the diplomatic, leadership, and communication skills of young participants while contributing to the cultural unity of Turkic nations. The event, held for the first time this year, was marked by high engagement and meaningful dialogue.

At the end of the program, participants emphasized the values of unity, solidarity, and shared cultural identity, expressing their commitment to strengthening ties among Turkic youth.

TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sait Yusuf noted that the simulation would be further developed and held on a regular basis in the coming years.
