Kazakhstan and Türkiye Sign Memorandum to Boost Bilateral Tennis Cooperation

The Tennis Federations of Kazakhstan and Turkey have established a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fortifying bilateral cooperation in the development of tennis.

The agreement underscores a shared commitment to jointly advancing the sport both nationally and internationally.

The document was signed by Bolat Utemuratov, President of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation (KTF), and Safak Müderrisgil, President of the Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF), as reported by ktf.kz.

This pact reflects the mutual aspiration of both parties to exchange experience and best practices across key areas of sports development. The memorandum paves the way for joint projects across several critical domains.

The areas of collaborative focus are set to include:

  • Athlete and Coach Development: Organizing joint training camps, conducting coach exchanges, and ensuring expert participation in national seminars and conferences.
  • Youth Support: Sharing successful models for training young tennis players and organizing joint tournaments.
  • Tournament Hosting: Jointly supporting professional and junior competitions, including ATP, WTA, and ITF series events.
  • Education and Officiating: Collaborative development of educational programs for coaches, along with the exchange of referees and other officials to gain international experience.
  • Infrastructure Development and Inclusive Programs.

Both Kazakhstan and Türkiye are recognized as consistently developing players within the global tennis community.
