At the initiative of the Tajik side, Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev held a telephone conversation with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin, TuraNews.kz reports.
Minister Muhriddin warmly congratulated Kosherbayev on his recent appointment and wished him success in his new responsibilities.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects of strengthening multifaceted bilateral cooperation, as well as joint work within regional and international organizations. Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the allied relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan and to implementing the agreements reached at the highest levels.
In addition, the officials reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.
