Death Toll in Gaza Surpasses 66,000
The number of fatalities in the besieged Gaza Strip has risen to 66,050 as a result of continued Israeli military attacks.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 79 people were killed and 379 injured in the past 24 hours alone. Hospitals reported receiving more than 370 wounded and dozens of bodies, Anadolu Agency reported.
Since October 7, 2023, when large-scale assaults began, a total of 168,162 people have been injured, while thousands of bodies remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
The Israeli army signed a ceasefire deal with Hamas on January 19, but the agreement was broken on March 18. Since then, 13,137 Palestinians have been killed and 56,121 injured in renewed attacks.
Additionally, since May 27, strikes on humanitarian aid distribution centers established jointly with the U.S. have killed 2,566 Palestinians and injured another 18,769.
