President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his condolences to Musabayev’s family and relatives, acknowledging his exceptional contributions to Kazakhstan’s aerospace development and his heroic achievements in space exploration.
“Talgat Amangeldievich was a national icon who journeyed to space three times, performed spacewalks, and earned global recognition for his courage. He devoted his life to advancing our country’s aerospace industry and initiated many valuable initiatives as a senator and public figure. His professionalism and dignified character earned him widespread respect. His legacy will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace,” the President stated in his condolence message.
