FlyArystan Launches Direct Flights from Atyrau to Tashkent
Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier FlyArystan has launched a new direct route connecting Atyrau and Tashkent. The inaugural flight landed at Tashkent International Airport on July 15 with 139 passengers and was welcomed with a ceremonial water salute.

FlyArystan President Richard Ledger noted that the new route not only expands the airline’s international network but also strengthens transport connectivity between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
“This flight complements our existing Astana–Tashkent route and opens direct air service between western Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. It supports stronger business, cultural, and tourism ties between our nations,” he stated.
Flights will operate twice weekly in July and August (on Thursdays and Sundays), and three times weekly in September and October (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). The flight duration is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes, operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Founded in 2019, FlyArystan is Kazakhstan’s first low-cost airline and part of the Air Astana Group. It has quickly become a leading regional carrier offering affordable and reliable travel across Central Asia and the CIS.
