For the first time, the event was held across two massive venues – Astana Arena and Barys Arena – significantly expanding capacity and visitor comfort.
The festival attracted pop culture fans from 36 countries, including the U.S., Canada, Turkey, South Korea, Germany, and Russia, with over 10,000 international guests attending.
Headline guests included Andy Serkis (“The Lord of the Rings”), Esai Morales (“Mission: Impossible”), and Scott Adkins (“Undisputed”), along with famous YouTubers Marmok, Qewbite, and world-renowned cosplayers Yaya Han and Cinderys.
A key event was the presentation of La Tregua, the first joint Kazakh–Spanish film project, targeting Netflix and global distribution.
More than 150 local artists and creators showcased their work, positioning Comic Con Astana as a powerful platform for emerging talent in comics, design, animation, and game development.
A major cosplay competition with a prize pool of 15 million KZT crowned the festival. With media coverage exceeding 200 million people, the event solidified Astana’s reputation as a creative and cultural hub in Eurasia.
