TÜRKSOY Celebrates 32 Years of Cultural Unity Among Turkic Nations

The International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) marks its 32nd anniversary, highlighting over three decades of fostering cultural ties among Turkic-speaking nations.

Founded in 1993 through the collective will of Turkic countries, TÜRKSOY has evolved into a vital cultural bridge in the region. Through concerts, exhibitions, festivals, and academic forums, the organization has significantly deepened cultural cooperation.

One of its flagship initiatives, the “Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” program, has enhanced city-level collaboration and supported the growth of shared artistic and scientific projects. TÜRKSOY has also built a rich cultural archive through its publications and research.

Speaking on the anniversary, Secretary General Sultan Raev emphasized the importance of shared cultural values and credited the organization’s success to the united support of member states and the collective will of Turkic peoples. He affirmed that TÜRKSOY would continue to strengthen cultural unity in the years ahead.
