Kazakhstan Sees 17% Growth in Ice Cream Production

Kazakhstan's ice cream and food ice production reached 23.8 thousand tons in January–May 2025, marking a 17.1% increase compared to the same period last year.

Imports during the first four months totaled 3,000 tons, accounting for 15.4% of the domestic market. The main suppliers were Russia (1,500 tons), Kyrgyzstan (1,000 tons), and Türkiye (300 tons). Smaller shipments also came from Uzbekistan, Switzerland, Belarus, and Italy.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan’s ice cream exports jumped by 41.6%, reaching 4,300 tons. The main export destinations included CIS countries and China.
