Silk Road Music Festival Concludes in Azerbaijan’s Historic City of Sheki
The 14th edition of the “Silk Road” International Music Festival has come to a close in Sheki, one of Azerbaijan’s oldest cultural centers.
The event ended with a festive closing concert, marking the culmination of the city’s annual “City Day” celebrations.
Jointly organized by TURKSOY, the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, the Union of Azerbaijani Composers, and the Sheki Governorate, the three-day festival welcomed audiences to performances by acclaimed musicians and ensembles from Türkiye, China, and Azerbaijan.
Music lovers gathered at iconic Sheki venues such as the historic Upper Caravanserai, the Heydar Aliyev Center, and the open-air Marhal Theater to enjoy a wide array of concerts and cultural events.
The festival once again showcased Sheki’s growing role as a vibrant hub on the cultural Silk Road.
