Azerbaijan Raises Retirement Age for Women Again
As of July 1, 2025, Azerbaijan has increased the retirement age for women by another six months, bringing it to 64 years and 6 months.
Under Article 7 of the Law “On Labor Pensions,” the retirement age for women with at least 25 years of insurance contributions is being gradually raised by six months each year between July 1, 2017, and July 1, 2027.
The retirement age for men with the same insurance record was already fixed at 65 years as of July 1, 2021. By 2027, women will also retire at age 65.
