20 Kazakh Students to Be Expelled from Kyrgyz University
Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security has uncovered that 59 foreign students enrolled at Arabaev Kyrgyz State University were officially registered but never physically present or attending classes.

According to Kabar news agency, these students were found to be living outside Kyrgyzstan and not participating in any academic activity. A criminal case has been launched under Kyrgyz Criminal Code for “official forgery”.
The university has decided to expel:
- 30 students from Uzbekistan,
- 20 from Kazakhstan,
- 9 from Russia.
An internal audit confirmed the violation of educational procedures. The security committee is currently identifying university staff members who may have been involved in the misconduct.
