The evacuation was carried out via the Iran-Azerbaijan land border with support from the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, the consulate in Tabriz, and the embassy in Israel, which continue to operate under normal conditions.
Hotlines were activated to handle citizen requests, and all necessary steps have been taken to ensure their safety, the ministry confirmed.
