According to the national railway company “Uztemiryulyo‘lovchi”, the measure aims to ensure the safety of both passenger and freight transportation. The company warned that trains may arrive later than scheduled as a result of the speed limitations.
It also noted that cooling systems in train carriages may operate less efficiently during the heatwave.
